How to Check Apple Warranty Status in 5 Easy Steps
Not sure if your Apple device is still under warranty?
Whether you’re planning a repair, checking eligibility for AppleCare+, or simply want to stay informed, verifying your device’s warranty status is quick and easy. Apple offers a 1-year limited warranty and 90 days of complimentary technical support, but accidental damage isn’t covered unless you have AppleCare+.
To help you stay on top of your device coverage, here’s a step-by-step guide to checking your Apple device’s service and support status in just 5 EASY STEPS:
1. Visit Apple’s Official Website. Go to Apple.com
2. Open the Menu
Click the menu icon (☰) usually located at the top left or right corner of the screen.

3. Select “Support”
From the dropdown, tap or click Support.

4. Navigate to Coverage Check
Scroll down and look for ‘Find out about your coverage’
Click ‘Check coverage for your product‘ → checkcoverage.apple.com

5. Enter your serial number and complete the CAPTCHA code, then click Continue.
(How to find your serial number?)
- iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > General > About > Serial Number
- AirPods: Go to Settings > General > About > AirPods > Serial Number
- MacBook: Go to Apple Logo > About This Mac > Serial Number

Easy, right?
But wait, there’s an even quicker way! Yes!
✅ Just click this direct link: checkcoverage.apple.com
No need to navigate through menus. Go straight to the coverage check page, enter your serial number, and you’re done. Voila!
