Apple TV+ : New Streaming Service

Apple recently announced its new streaming service – Apple TV+ which will be launched this November 1 for as low as USD 4.99 (PHP 249.00) per month. The subscription price is indeed budget friendly considering that most of the contents are exclusively produced by Apple for its Apple TV+ subscribers and has a family sharing feature that can be extended to 6 people per plan. Isn’t it exciting?

Apple will be competing to the existing streaming service giants such as Netflix, Disney+, HBO max, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc.

It will be available in more than 100 countries through the AppleTV app that is currently installed on apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, MacBook – running MacOS Catalina and even iPod touch. Woah!).

The AppleTV app will also be available soon on selected Samsung smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, LG, Sony, Roku and VIZIO platforms.

To attract more subscribers, starting September 10, users who will be purchasing iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, MacBook or iPod Touch will get a 1 year of Apple TV+ subscription for free.

Yes, it is 100% FREE!

Apple TV+ will launch various breathtaking shows and movies which are all Apple originals:

SEE — (Jason Momoa, the lead star) which is kinda giving me a Game of Thrones − BirdBox aura

THE MORNING SHOW — a news drama including prominent stars Jennifer Aniston and Resse Witherspoon

DICKINSON — a drama series led by Hailee Steinfeld

FOR ALL MANKIND — another Apple Original drama series

Other shows to be watched out:

  • Snoopy In Space
  • The Elephant Queen
  • Helpsters
  • Ghostwriter
  • Servant
  • Truth Be Told
  • Oprah
  • Home Before Dark
  • Mythic Quest

What do you think of this new streaming service?

We will have to look into this. I would want to weigh out other options for home entertainment and see if we can cut costs somewhere. Maybe Apple TV would be a good choice.

well, another option for streaming services. Most of the services can be shared to 5 or 6 members and I hope Apple will really give a good shot here. It is worth-a-try (crossing fingers) 🙂
